I am always amazed at how complexity is preferred to simplicity. Yet topics can be quite complex. This raises the question for me: Do complex challenges really require complex solutions or can it be simpler?
Complexity comes in different forms and is also understood and seen differently by individuals – perhaps that is what makes it complex…
Complexity can exist or arise in relationships between people. Especially in the development of new business fields, an organisational project, etc., dealing with complexity can be a very exciting and tangible challenge.
Here it becomes clear to me that the achievement of the goal of a project is within reach when the ship of the relationship of the two negotiating partners can enter a trustworthy harbour. Thus, from my point of view, building a relationship is extremely important. However, the path from the first touch point to a relationship takes time.
But if it is possible to gain the trust of the counterpart through listening, empathy, authenticity, genuineness and the right choice of words, joint development is possible, which in return makes complex challenges seem much easier and facilitates implementation considerably. From my experience, joint development is an excellent prerequisite for joint success.
Cool! It’s pretty simple…
How do you experience complexity and joint development? I look forward to your feedback in the comments.
Many thanks & best regards
Stephan
