It is essential for a company to realise sustainable growth in order to master the constant demands of the VUCA world. In this context, silo thinking is out of place in my view, promotes political friction among each other and leads to unproductivity. An integrative approach to business strategies along the value chain allows a significantly greater and more stable growth potential and mobilises the necessary energy and motivation of all employees.
Especially in this agile age with new work and business models, an integrative growth strategy can be developed and positioned very well. The following topics are brought together to evaluate the “sweet point”:
- Business, technology, organisation, employees, customers, market needs and values.
From this intersection, an innovative and customer-centric strategy can be derived.
Important for the implementation is the cultural readiness of the company, outspoken management support, an integrated acceptance of mistakes as well as an efficient human-centred change management.
What qualities are needed for this?
- Courage, openness, enthusiasm, trust (faith), patience, listening, teamwork and adequate communication.
Basically, it is important to get into action and not to remain in a cognitive prison, i.e. “walk the talk”!
Leadership and coaching can make a decisive contribution to business development!
What are your challenges in business development?
I look forward to your feedback in the comments.
Many thanks & best regards
