You probably heard this before: “I am so dissatisfied with my work. I can no longer offer any performance”. I have heard this sentence very often…
What is the reason for this?
From my experience, the main reason for this phenomenon is a mismatch of values between the company and the leader. If these two sets of values are not in balance, this can lead to regression when corporate values fall and, on the other hand, to depression when personal values decline. However, if a balance is created through shared values, success is not long in coming. 
I am convinced that besides the task, the personality is match-decisive for successful task fulfilment. The personality is defined by lived human and ethical values and acts with transparency and communication. When recruiting a leader, the alignment of the company’s values with those of the potential leader should be prioritised in order to realise a sustainable and successful development of the company.
