We cannot see or read the thoughts and knowledge of our counterpart. However, we have the opportunity to crystallise them in a conversation by asking appropriate questions or to articulate them as the person being asked.
π£ Communication is therefore the key to satisfaction.
An interesting analysis by #Gallup shows how these characteristics are reflected in everyday working life. Satisfaction at work is broken down into the following indicators:
π Thriving at work
π Quiet Quitting
π Loud Quitting
But how do these characteristics come about?
Due to our biography, every person has individual characteristics and abilities in terms of perception, cognition and action. This is also linked to the way in which we communicate. Being able to respond to these accordingly is also a major challenge in leadership, which requires empathy, appreciation, goodwill and neutrality.
β A lot of good and a lot of trouble can arise here.
If we look at the results of the #Gallup study, the importance of this challenge becomes clear.
If we want to achieve an improvement in employee satisfaction, listening, the right words and the right timing in communication are essential.
π― In my view, far-sighted leadership is required for the company’s development, focussing on the percentage reduction of quiet quitting and loud quitting. This generates traction and therefore sustainable future prospects.
Would you like to challenge your current situation? I would be happy to act as your sparring partner.
Take care & best regards
Stephan
