Consistency – leadership quality for development

I experience time and again that there are major discrepancies between the intended strategy and its effective implementation. The required consistent focus on this and the management of its KPIs tend to get lost in the hustle and bustle of everyday life or are simply interpreted differently by other people in charge. The resulting consequences are often missed learning effects and development phases.

💡 I see strategy as a guiding star, as a constant focus on development goals that directs organisational concentration to the essentials. The strategy should radiate traction and motivation, tell a powerful and authentic story and enable the management to create prospects for the future.

⚠ Yes, there are challenges and obstacles where adjustments are necessary.

👍 However, these offer moments of development that should be recognised as opportunities and where the right decisions should be made. At the same time, they should not disregard foresight.

👎 Careless changes of direction leave the described constant path and have a negative impact on the development of the people and the organisation.

🎯 I am convinced that the focus on a goal strengthens the organisation’s organism to achieve it and this requires consistency.
